What Cue is
Cue is an iPhone app for reading a script while you record video. It is offered by the developer of Cue ("we") through the Apple App Store.
Your content
Your scripts and videos are yours. Cue stores them only on your device and claims no rights over anything you create with it. You are responsible for the content you record and for having permission to record anyone who appears in your videos.
Cue Pro
Cue Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features such as filming in takes, 4K recording, and unlimited scripts. The purchase is processed by Apple, follows Apple's App Store terms, and is tied to your Apple Account. Restore it any time on a new device with Restore Purchases. Prices may change for new buyers; a purchase you have already made stays yours.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cue to create content that is unlawful, or attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app outside the App Store.
No warranty
Cue is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors, and we are not liable for lost recordings or other damages arising from use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Always check that an important take was saved before deleting it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Cue after a change means you accept the updated terms.
